Our Staff at Reed Optical
Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. They are excited about what they do, and they care personally about getting the best results for our patients. Our patient care coordinators will try to accommodate your busy schedule by finding appointments that suit your needs. We will help you understand your insurance coverage and if financial arrangements are necessary, we will be glad to help you develop a plan to make your vision care treatment possible.
Meet our Staff
Laurel Hall, CPO
Laurel joined our team in May of 2015 as a Patient Care Coordinator. Her primary role as Insurance and Billing Specialist for both of our locations fills her day. In addition, with prior experience as an optometric technician, she can assist with contact lens ordering and medical triage.
She and her family enjoy living in the Claremont community.
Heidi Cass
Heidi, Operations Manager and Optician, joined our team in 2015. As operations manager, she ensures that our staff are fully trained and prepared to offer outstanding care and service. As an optician, she enjoys helping her patients achieve the best vision possible in frames that accentuate their features.
When not working, she is often a home with her family and pets or cheering on one of her children in their many endeavors!
Jackie Garrow, ABOC, ABOP
Jackie comes to Reed Optical with over 15 years of experience in the optical industry, earning her ABO certification in 2020. She finds opticianry to be fascinating and enjoys guiidng patients with frame and lens options that meet their vision needs. She also enjoys the challenge of a tough eyeglass repair!
Compared to her prior experience in commercial settings, she enjoys the patient focused atmosphere and the access to technologies for customizing eyewear.
In addition, Jackie volunteers her time as a board member of the New Hampshire Optician Society.
When not working, she is busy with her three boys and pets. She loves finding new plant based recipes to cook and challenging herself to meet her fitness goals.
Lexi Eitapence
Lexi, part of our medical team since 2023, loves the environment of patient care! In addition to working as an Ophthalmic Technician in our Claremont office, she can help rejuvenate your eyes in our Dry Eye Spa!
Outside of work, Lexi is most likely snuggling with her cats and spending time with her partner.
Adam Lantas
Adam joined our team during the summer of 2023, with extensive experince in the medical field. As an ophthalmic medical technician, his responsibilities include performing medical testing, eyelid cleansing procedures and medical referrals. His personable nature quickly puts you at ease while in his care.
Outside of the office, Adam is an outdoorsman who loves to fish and spend time with his family.
Jacinta DaCosta
Jess joined our team in early spring of 2024. With a background in accounting and criminal justice, Jess enjoys working with others, trying her best to please everyone! As part of our communications team, she spends her day manning the phones, checking email and responding to your text messages.
On her off days she spends time with her TOPS friends, fur-babies and family members.
Lindsey Smrkovski
An "optician" in training, Lindsey assists with both optical duties, inventory control and some creative marketing endeavors. She very much enjoys helping in the family business, and is happy to assist you with your frame selection!
Keegan Erskine
Keegan initally joined our Medical team in the Spring of 2024. After about a year, she transitioned onto our Optical Team as an Apprentice Optician.
She is passionate about the outdoors, so you'll generally find her there when she is not in the office!
Michaela Wolfe
Michaela, an Apprentice Optician, joined our team in the Spring of 2025.
She and her husband live in Claremont and are active gamers and trivia fans!
Russell Howard
With prior experience in the medical field, Russ joined our team in mid-2025. He'll likely assist you with your appointment check-in, or perhaps he will be involved behind the scenes, working in our insurance verification department.
Indiana Jones (Indy)
Indy, our therapy dog, joined the Sunapee team in April of 2018. He is here to provide comfort during your visit. Always happy to see you, he will lay at your feet or snuggle you on the couch, your choice. No treats please, he prefers pets!
Indy was featured in the 4 Legs & A Tail Magazine in Spring of 2020!
