Laurel joined our team in May of 2015 as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a parametric assistant, she may assist you with the initial testing for your eye exam. Her second role as Insurance and Billing Specialist for both of our locations keeps her busy when not involved in patient care. She and her family enjoy living in the Claremont community.
Heidi, Operations Manager and Optician, joined our team in 2015. As an optician, she enjoys helping her patients achieve the best vision possible in frames that accentuate their features. When not working, she is often a home with her family and pets or on a field watching one of her daughters play their favorite sports!
Jackie comes to Reed Optical with over 15 years of experience in the optical industry, earning her ABO certification in 2020. She finds opticianry to be fascinating and enjoys guiidng patients with frame and lens options that meet their vision needs. She also enjoys the challenge of a tough eyeglass repair! Compared to her prior experience in commercial settings, she enjoys the patient focused atmosphere and the access to technologies for customizing eyewear.
When not at work, she is busy with her three boys and pets. She loves finding new plant based recipes to cook and challenging herself to meet her fitness goals.
Jennifer is our Supervising Ophthalmic Technicnician who joined our team in early 2021. From contact lenses to medical testing, she is always ready to help you with a smile!
In addition to her work responsibilities, Jennifer is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education through the Grand Canyon University online program. Raised in the Bluff area of Claremont, she earned herself the nickname "Jenny from the Bluff". In her free time, she enjoys thrift shopping with her twin sister, yard sales, attending car shows, listening to music, spending quality time with family and pets, and just relaxing at home!
Christina joined our team in the fall of 2021, when she moved into the area. She worked for 15 years as an early childhood teacher before her role as a patient care coordinator. She spends her day greeting patients in office and on the phone with her fabulous smile (yes, you'll hear it on the phone)!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. In the off chance she is not chasing her young daughter and two dogs, she enjoys relaxing with a book or a video game!
The latest addition to our Optical team is also the tallest! As an apprentice optician, Logan will assist you with the selection and purchase of your eyewear. He is knowledge of lens options and treatments will allow him to tailor your eyewear solutions to your individual needs.
When Logan isn't in the office, he's likely voice acting, working his way through some of the latest video games or playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
Recently moving to New Hampshire from the south, Shannon will wow you with her southern charm as our optometric technician. She will assist you during your exam with the screenings prior to seeing your doctor as well as performing additional medical testing that you may need.
An "optician" in training, Lindsey assists in optical duties in either location, generally on snow days or school holidays! She very much enjoys helping in the family business, and is happy to assist you with your frame selection!
Indy, our therapy dog, joined the Sunapee team in April of 2018. He is here to provide comfort during your visit. Always happy to see you, he will lay at your feet or snuggle you on the couch, your choice. No treats please, he prefers pets!
